Silva and Chagas each received a possible six-month suspension following their welterweight bout, which Silva won via rear-naked choke 3:57 into the third frame. Silva is out for six months unless he is cleared by a doctor for a facial fracture, while Chagas faces the same term unless he is cleared by an orthopedist for a fractured fibula.

The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) recently released a full list of medical suspensions from this past Saturday’s event. While all 26 fighters who competed on the card were given a minimum 14-day suspension, only seven, including Silva and Chagas, received a longer term.

UFC Fight Night took place at Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil, and saw Cristiane Justino overwhelm Lina Lansberg en route to a technical knockout victory at the 2:29 mark of the second round. Lansberg was suspended for 45 days, with 30 days no contact, following the defeat.
