“TUF: Latin America 2” is expected to debut on Aug. 26 and will likely stream in the United States on UFC Fight Pass. Efrain Escudero and Kelvin Gastelum served as coaches for the reality show, which was taped in Las Vegas and featured lightweights and welterweights.
The UFC made its first trip to Mexico last November for UFC 180 in Mexico City. Fabricio Werdum defeated Mark Hunt for the interim heavyweight title in the evening’s main event. The Las Vegas-based promotion returned to Mexico City for the second time on Saturday night with a card anchored by a heavyweight unification title bout between Cain Velasquez and Werdum.
