Northcutt took home a disclosed paycheck of $80,000 for his undercard win at UFC Fight Night “Namajunas vs. VanZant” on Dec. 10, according to payout figures released Monday by the Nevada Athletic Commission. The 19-year-old Texan secured his victory via second-round guillotine choke against heavy underdog Cody Pfister, who earned $12,000 in defeat.
The show’s second-highest earner was co-main event winner Michael Chiesa, who doubled his base salary of $30,000 by tapping Jim Miller with a second-round rear-naked choke. Women’s strawweight up-and-comer Rose Namajunas earned $54,000 for her career-best performance against Paige VanZant ($40,000) in the evening’s headliner.
