Not only did Jim Miller lose his bout against Donald Cerrone at UFC Fight Night "Cerrone vs. Miller" on Wednesday, but the hometown fighter will also not see action for at least 30 days.
The New Jersey State Control Board on Thursday released a full list of medical suspensions from the event, which took place July 16 at Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J.
Miller, along with Alptekin Ozkilic, Alex White, Jessamyn Duke, Jerrod Sanders and Tina Lahdemaki all were given indefinite medical suspensions pending medical review.
In all, 10 fighters on the card were handed medical suspensions. It’s worth noting that state athletic commissions will often give extended suspensions to fighters who have experienced a technical knockout for precautionary reasons.
