The lineup for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s June 6 trip to New Orleans is complete with the addition of a lightweight clash pitting Christos Giagos against Chris Wade.

The Las Vegas-based promotion revealed the bout on Wednesday. The UFC Fight Night event takes place at the Smoothie King Center and is headlined by a middleweight bout between Dan Henderson and Tim Boetsch.

Giagos debuted in the Octagon last October, when he tapped to a Gilbert Burns armbar in the opening stanza at UFC 179. The 25-year-old known as “The Spartan” rebounded in his next outing, as he choked out Jorge Antonio Cezario de Oliveria at UFC Fight Night on March 21.

A seven-time Ring of Combat veteran, Wade has earned victories against Cain Carrizosa and Lipeng Zhang in his first two UFC appearances. The 27-year-old Long Island, N.Y., native is 9-1 as a professional overall, including six victories via decision.
