UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: ‘Bigfoot’ Silva-Andrei Arlovski Rematch Gets Go-Ahead

The career paths of Antonio Silva and Andrei Arlovski will cross yet again, this time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Silva -- who defeated “The Pit Bull” by unanimous decision under the Strikeforce banner a little more than four years ago -- tipped the scales at 264 pounds for his five-round clash with Arlovski (248) in the UFC Fight Night “Bigfoot vs. Arlovski 2” main event on Saturday at Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil. Lightweight co-headliners Gleison Tibau (156) and Piotr Hallmann (155) also met their contracted weight requirements without issue at Friday’s official weigh-in.

UFC Fight Night “Bigfoot vs. Arlovski 2” -- which streams to UFC Fight Pass at 5:45 p.m. ET/2:45 p.m. PT -- will also feature will also feature a lightweight scrap pairing “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner Efrain Escudero (156) with Leonardo Santos (155), a welterweight battle pitting Team Nogueira’s Santiago Ponzinibbio (171) against Wendell de Oliveira Marques (170), a bantamweight tilt matching World Extreme Cagefighting veteran Iuri Alcantara (136) with Russell Doane (136) and a women’s bantamweight affair between Jessica Andrade (134) and the unbeaten Larissa Moreira Pacheco (136).

Five undercard bouts will round out the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest stop in Brazil: Dashon Johnson (146) vs. Godofredo Castro (146), George Sullivan (171) vs. Igor Araujo (171), Leandro Silva (156) vs. Francisco Trinaldo (155), Paulo Thiago (171) vs. Sean Spencer (170) and Rani Yahya (136) vs. Johnny Bedford (136).
