UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Donald Cerrone, Jim Miller Hit Marks in Atlantic City

The ultimate prize has thus far eluded Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller, as neither man has found a way to lock down a shot at the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight crown.

Cerrone tipped the scales at 155 pounds for his five-round showdown with Miller (154.5) in the UFC Fight Night “Cerrone vs. Miller” main event on Wednesday at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Lightweight co-headliners Edson Barboza (155) and Evan Dunham (155.5) also met their mandated weight requirements at Tuesday’s official weigh-in.

Cerrone, 31, will carry a streak of three consecutive victories into the cage. The “Cowboy” last fought at UFC on Fox 11 in April, when he submitted Barboza with a first-round rear-naked choke at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. Wins over onetime EliteXC champion K.J. Noons, Alliance MMA’s Jeremy Stephens, former World Extreme Cagefighting titleholder Jamier Varner and Russian-born German kickboxer Denis Siver anchor the impressive Cerrone resume. The Jackson-Wink MMA mainstay has compiled a 10-3 record since touching down in the UFC in February 2011.

Anchored at the AMA Fight Club in his native New Jersey, Miller has rattled off back-to-back wins over Fabricio Camoes and Yancy Medeiros. The 31-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt last appeared at UFC 172 in April, when he choked Medeiros unconscious in the first round of their encounter at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore. Miller has secured more than half (14) of his 24 career victories by submission, nine of them inside one round. He owns a 13-3 mark inside the Octagon, losing only to Gray Maynard, Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz.

UFC Fight Night “Cerrone vs. Miller” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT -- will also feature a welterweight clash pairing Rick Story (170.5) with Leonardo Mafra Texeira (165.5), a lightweight tilt pitting Justin Salas (155) against Joe Proctor (155), a flyweight duel matching former Jungle Fight champion John Lineker (125.5) with Alptekin Ozkilic (125.5) and a featherweight encounter pairing Alex White (146) with Lucas Martins (145).
