Frankie Edgar tipped the scales at 145 pounds ahead of his five-round showdown with Cub Swanson (145.8) in the UFC Fight Night “Edgar vs. Swanson” main event on Saturday at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Lightweight co-headliners Bobby Green (155.4) and Edson Barboza (155) also hit their intended marks at Friday’s official weigh-in.
UFC Fight Night “Edgar vs. Swanson” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT -- will also feature a heavyweight clash pitting Jared Rosholt (240) against Alexey Oleinik (235), a lightweight scrap pairing Jackson-Wink MMA export Isaac Vallie-Flagg (156) with Matt Wiman (155.4) and a pair of flyweight tilts, as American Top Team’s Brad Pickett (126) faces Chico Camus (125.6) and Team Alpha Male representative Joseph Benavidez (125.6) meets Dustin Ortiz (125.6).
Two hours prior, Fox Sports 1 will also carry four preliminary bouts: Ruslan Magomedov (246) vs. Josh Copeland (264), Luke Barnatt (185.4) vs. Roger Narvaez (185.4), James Vick (155.8) vs. Nick Hein (154.2) and Yves Edwards (154.6) vs. Akbarh Arreola (155.6).
