UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Mark Hunt, Roy Nelson Official for Heavyweight Duel

Few men pack the punch of a Mark Hunt or a Roy Nelson. In a matter of hours, they will lob their sledgehammer hands at one another in one of the year’s most anticipated heavyweight battles.

Hunt checked in at 264 pounds for his five-round clash with Nelson (260) in the UFC Fight Night “Hunt vs. Nelson” main event on Saturday at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Lightweight co-headliners Myles Jury (156) and Takanori Gomi (155) also met their contracted weight requirements without incident at Friday’s official weigh-in.

UFC Fight Night “Hunt vs. Nelson” -- which streams to UFC Fight Pass at 12:30 a.m. ET/9:30 p.m. PT -- will also feature a women’s bantamweight affair pairing former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate (135) with Rin Nakai (135), a flyweight duel pitting the world-ranked Kyoji Horiguchi (125) against Jon delos Reyes (125) and a pair of welterweight tilts, as “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 7 winner Amir Sadollah (170) meets Yoshihiro Akiyama (170) and Kiichi Kunimoto (171) faces Richard Walsh (171).

Six preliminary bouts will round out the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s return to Japan: Alex Caceres (135) vs. Masanori Kanehara (135), Katsunori Kikuno (146) vs. Sam Sicilia (145), Hyun Gyu Lim (171) vs. Takenori Sato (169), Michinori Tanaka (135) vs. Kyung Ho Kang (136), Kazuki Tokudome (155) vs. Johnny Case (156) and Maximo Blanco (146) vs. Daniel Hooker (145).
