UFC Fight Pass has added another promotion to its ever-growing lineup.
The promotion’s digital streaming service announced Thursday that it has signed a deal to add Canadian mixed martial arts organization TKO MMA to its stable of live events.
The promotion held 46 events from its inception in June 2002 until Oct. 3, 2008 before ceasing operation. TKO MMA will return for the first time in more than eight years on Nov. 4 for an event at Tohu Circus Arts Hall in Montreal that will air on UFC Fight Pass.
According to a release, TKO MMA will hold five events over the course of 2017, all of which will be available on UFC Fight Pass. Additionally, TKO MMA’s catalogue of previous events can also be viewed on Fight Pass.
“The addition of TKO MMA adds another layer to UFC Fight Pass unbeatable value,” UFC Fight Pass general manager Eric Winter said. “The same organization that helped develop numerous UFC stars will now usher in the next wave of Canadian talent, and MMA fans worldwide can catch all the action on UFC Fight Pass.”
A number of noteworthy talents have competed in the promotion over the years, including Georges St. Pierre, Patrick Cote, Mark Hominick, Sam Stout, Rich Franklin, Sean Sherk and Urijah Faber.
