Thiago Santos was in control of his duel with Jack Marshman in the first televised bout on FS1, but he was dropped and badly dazed by a late flurry in the opening round.

Santos cleared his head and continued to brawl with the Welshman, and it seemed like a terrific back-and-forth skirmish was on its way. The action continued into the second, but the Brazilian ended things in highlight reel fashion when he uncorked a spinning head kick that leveled Marshman on impact. Santos pounced on his woozy foe immediately and unloaded a quick torrent of punches until referee Brad Jardine had no choice but to intervene. The official time of the spectacular knockout came at 2:21 of the second.
