UFC officials Tuesday announced that middleweight newcomers Sean Loeffler and Buddy Roberts will square off Feb. 15 as part of UFC on Fuel TV “Ellenberger vs. Sanchez.”

Taking place at Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Neb., the show will be headlined by a pivotal welterweight collision pitting Diego Sanchez against Jake Ellenberger. Lanky heavyweights Stefan Struve and Dave Herman will lock horns in the evening’s co-main event.

Known as “The Destroyer,” Loeffler has emerged victorious in 12 of his last 13 outings. The 29-year-old suffered his lone loss in that span to Bryan Baker, falling by technical knockout to “The Beast” at Bellator 16 in 2010.

Also 29, Roberts represents one of the sport’s most revered camps in Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts. The New Mexico resident has not lost since 2009, most recently outpointing Tony Lopez on July 9. Roberts owns five of his 11 career wins by submission, while four of his victories have come by way of knockout.
