Alex Volkanovski looked terrific in his UFC debut as he out-grappled Yusuke Kasuya in a high-speed chess match.

The two traded submission attempts and scrambled in and out of precarious positions, but Volkanovski was able to land several stinging punches when he was on top. In the second, the Japanese grappler rolled his foe into a leg lock, but when he left his head wide open while laying belly down, Volkanovski unloaded an endless supply of punches from behind until the referee had no choice but to intervene.
