Ricardo Abreu has been suspended for two years by the United States Anti-Doping Agency after testing positive for a banned substance in an out-of-competition test on June 3.

According to a statement released by USADA on Friday, Abreu tested positive for 19-norandrosterone (19-NA) above the decision limit of 3 ng/mL and 19-noretiocholanolone. Both substances are metabolites of the anabolic steroid nandrolone.

Abreu, 32, is not eligible to return to UFC competition, until July 1, 2018, two years after he was provisionally suspended by USADA. The Brazilian hasn’t fought since June 6, 2015, when he dropped a split decision to Jake Collier at UFC Fight Night “Boetsch vs. Henderson.” Abreu is 5-1 over the course of a professional career that began in 2011.

Abreu joins Mirko Filipovic, Gleison Tibau and Chad Mendes as UFC athletes to receive a two-year sanction from USADA for anti-doping violations.
