George Sotiropoulos, Rosi Sexton and Alessio Sakara have all been released by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Sotiropoulos, 36, exits the Octagon on the heels of four consecutive defeats. A former “Ultimate Fighter” contestant and coach, the Aussie last competed on Oct. 19, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Strikeforce import K.J. Noons at UFC 166.
Also 36, Sexton won eight of nine bouts to earn her spot in the UFC but produced a 0-2 record upon her arrival, falling to Alexis Davis before suffering a one-sided decision loss to Brazilian prospect Jessica Andrade.
Like Sotiropoulos, Sakara departs the Las Vegas-based promotion with four consecutive defeats. The Italian was most recently submitted by Nicholas Musoke, who tapped out “Legionarius” with a first-round armbar this past October at UFC Fight Night 30.
