UFC Returns to London on Feb. 27 for Fight Night Card
The
Ultimate Fighting Championship will return to London on Feb.
27.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the news Wednesday morning on its official European Twitter hub. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Dec. 4. No fights were announced for the bill.
UFC has held 14 events in England throughout the years, and Feb. 27’s card will be the eighth in London proper.
The Octagon last touched down in London in March of 2014, and was headlined by a 205-pound clash between Europeans Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa. Gustafsson finished the Brit off in the second frame with a knee and follow-up punches.
It’s likely that the event will air on Fight Pass in the U.S., or possibly Fox Sports 1 in the afternoon.
