Former Invicta Fighting Championships atomweight champion Michelle Waterson has signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The news was revealed Monday night on Fox Sports’ “UFC Tonight.”
Waterson is expected to make the leap to 115 pounds, as the Las Vegas-based promotion currently does not have a 105-pound division.
The 29-year-old Jackson-Wink MMA product holds a career record of 12-4 with seven submissions. She was considered a centerpiece of Invicta FC, even after losing her title to Herica Tiburcio last December.
