UFC alumnus Terry Etim has signed with Bellator and will make his promotional debut on Nov. 2 just prior to the organization’s inaugural pay-per-view broadcast.

Bellator officials announced the signing on Friday, revealing that Etim will battle Patrick Cenoble during the pay-per-view pre-show on Spike TV. The event takes place at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif., and is headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between ex-UFC champions Tito Ortiz and Quinton Jackson.

The evening’s pay-per-view offering will also see lightweight champion Michael Chandler collide with Eddie Alvarez in an anticipated title rematch, while Pat Curran puts his featherweight belt on the line against Season 6 tournament winner and former adversary Daniel Straus.

Etim and Cenoble will be joined by the “Fight Master” welterweight final on Spike TV, as Joe Riggs takes on Mike Bronzoulis. Prior to the televised prelims, Spike.com will stream five additional undercard bouts, including a lightweight showdown pitting UFC alum Mike Guymon against Aaron Spiller.

Etim, 27, last competed in February, when he was outpointed by Renee Forte at UFC on Fuel TV 7. Prior to that setback, the Brit found himself on the receiving end of Sherdog.com’s 2012 “Knockout of the Year” courtesy of an Edson Barboza wheel kick at UFC 142. Etim competed for the Las Vegas-based promotion for nearly six years, during which he compiled an Octagon record of 6-5, including five finishes.

Cenoble, 23, began his pro career with eight consecutive victories but has earned just one win in his last four fights. “Lights Out” made his Bellator debut in March, fighting veteran Tony Fryklund to a split draw at Bellator 94. Cenoble owns eight of his nine career wins by knockout and has never been submitted in four years of competition.
