The Ultimate Fighting Championship will visit Chicago for the third consecutive year on Jan. 25, when the organization holds UFC on Fox 10 from the United Center.
UFC President Dana White announced the booking during Wednesday night’s new episode of Fox Sports Live and revealed that UFC 170 will take place Feb. 22 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. No fights were announced for either card.
UFC 169 is still on for Super Bowl Saturday, though White recently stated that a light heavyweight title showdown between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira would not top the Feb. 22 event as originally announced. Nevertheless, the show will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Next year, the company plans to hold 35 events, including 13 pay-per-views, 14 Fox Sports 1 events, four shows on Fox’s flagship network and four additional cards on Fox Sports 2. Two of FS1 events will serve as “Ultimate Fighter” finales, and FS1 will also handle the preliminary cards for all 13 pay-per-views.
