Junior dos Santos was the biggest earner at UFC on Fox 13, taking home a reported $260,000 for his victory over Stipe Miocic ($30,000) in the evening’s main event on Dec. 13.
Both Dos Anjos’ and Diaz’s paydays reflect the $4,000 of Diaz’s purse that was given to dos Anjos when the Stockton, Calif., native was fined for missing weight. Diaz, a 20-time Octagon veteran, had not competed in more than a year prior to facing dos Anjos.
Alistair Overeem was the card’s other high earner, as he pocketed $150,000 for his first-round stoppage of Stefan Struve ($40,000) in a featured heavyweight bout.
Note: The disclosed purses reported by state athletic commissions do not include any performance-based or discretionary bonuses that may be awarded to a fighter by the promotion. Additionally, the reported figures do not reflect any deductions made by the commission for taxes, insurance, etc., and do not include any sponsorship money that a fighter may acquire for their performance.
