Andy Ogle will welcome Makwan Amirkhani to the Octagon at UFC on Fox 14, promotion officials announced Friday.
UFC on Fox 14 takes place at the Tele2Arena in Stockholm on Jan. 24 and is highlighted by a light heavyweight No. 1 contender showdown between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson. The evening’s main card, which airs on Fox, also includes a key 205-pound tilt between Ryan Bader and Phil Davis as well as a middleweight matchup pitting Gegard Mousasi against Dan Henderson.
A member of “The Ultimate Fighter 15” cast, Ogle enters his bout with Amirkhani on a three-fight losing streak. The Englishman known as “Little Axe” is 1-4 in the Octagon overall, with his lone UFC triumph coming against Josh Grispi in February 2013.
Amirkhani, 26, is 10-2 as a professional, with eight of those victories coming by way of submission. The Turku, Finland, native last competed on April 5, taking a unanimous verdict over Yohan Guerin at Cage 26.
