Two middleweight bouts have been added to the UFC on Fox 17 lineup, as Nate Marquardt meets C.B. Dollaway, while Josh Samman takes on Tamdan McCrory.

The UFC announced the matchups on Friday. UFC on Fox 17 takes place at Amway Center in Orlando on Dec. 19 and is headlined by a lightweight title tilt between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone.

Marquardt has lost five of his last six outings. Most recently, Marquardt’s corner stopped his UFC 188 bout against Kelvin Gastelum after two rounds. The middleweight title challenger’s only victory since 2012 was over James Te Huna at UFC Fight Night in New Zealand.

Dollaway, meanwhile, has dropped back-to-back fights against middleweight contenders Michael Bisping and Lyoto Machida. Prior to that, “The Doberman” had been victorious in four of five Octagon appearances.

A “TUF 17” alum, Samman has won four straight contests, including three in the UFC. He has finished all three of his Octagon foes -- Kevin Casey, Eddie Gordon and Caio Magalhaes -- inside the distance.

McCrory returns to the UFC for the first time since 2009. “The Barn Cat” is coming off a two-fight stint with Bellator MMA, where he scored first-round finishes of both Brennan Ward and Jason Butcher.
