UFC on Fox 19 Medical Suspensions: Oluwale Bamgbose Faces Possible 6-Month Layoff

Oluwale Bamgbose could be out for six months following his loss to unanimous decision loss to Cezar Ferreira at UFC on Fox 19 this past Saturday.

Sherdog.com on Tuesday received a list of medical suspensions from the event via the Florida State Boxing Commission. Bamgbose was the only fighter from the card to receive a 180-day suspension. “The Holy War Angel” must receive a CT scan before his suspension is lifted; at a minimum he will be sidelined 45 days with 30 days of no contact.

UFC on Fox 19 took place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., and saw Glover Teixeira knock out Rashad Evans 1:48 into the opening round of their light heavyweight headliner. Evans received a 30-day precautionary suspension after the defeat, while Teixeira exited the bout with no documented issues.

Rashad Evans: Suspended 30 days

Darrell Horcher: Suspended 60 days for hard fight

Raquel Pennington: Suspended 30 days for eye laceration

Court McGee: Suspended 30 days

Randy Brown: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact

Michael Graves: Suspended pending left hand x-ray

Manny Gamburyan: Suspended 30 days

Oluwale Bamgbose: suspended 180 days pending CT scan; mandatory 45 day suspension with no contact for 30 days

Omari Akhmedov: suspended 45 days for eye laceration
