UFC on Fox 19 Weigh-in Results: Glover Teixeira, Rashad Evans Given All Clear in Tampa

Excuse Glover Teixeira and Rashad Evans if they have sense of urgency about them. As 36-year-olds competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight division, time would not appear to be on their side.

Teixeira tipped the scales at 205 pounds ahead of his clash with Evans (205) in the UFC on Fox 19 main event on Saturday at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Women’s strawweight contenders Tecia Torres (116) and Rose Namajunas (115.5) also met their contracted weight requirements without issue at Friday’s official weigh-in.

UFC on Fox 19 “Teixeira vs. Evans” -- which airs live on Fox at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT -- will also feature a 160-pound catchweight tilt pitting the unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov (160.5) against Darrell Horcher (*161) and a featherweight battler matching Cub Swanson (145) with Nova Uniao rep Hacran Dias (145.5).

Two hours prior, Fox will also carry four preliminary bouts: Beneil Dariush (156) vs. Michael Chiesa (156), Bethe Correia (136) vs. Raquel Pennington (135.5), Court McGee (170.5) vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio (171) and Drew Dober (156) vs. Islam Makhachev (*156). The four remaining undercard matchups will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT: John Dodson (135) vs. Manny Gamburyan (136), Randy Brown (171) vs. Michael Graves (170.5), Oluwale Bamgbose (183.5) vs. Cezar Ferreira (185.5) and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos (170.5) vs. Omari Akhmedov (171).
