Four competitors walked away from UFC on Fox 9 with an extra $50,000, as Demetrious Johnson, Urijah Faber, Edson Barboza and Danny Castillo all earned post-fight bonuses.

UFC President Dana White revealed the bonus winners at Saturday night’s post-fight press conference. Johnson was awarded “Knockout of the Night” for his first-round stoppage of Joseph Benavidez, and Faber earned “Submission of the Night” after forcing surging prospect Michael McDonald to tap out in the co-main event. Meanwhile, Barboza and Castillo shared “Fight of the Night” honors following their three-round lightweight showdown.

Johnson wasted no time in dispatching Benavidez in their headlining rematch from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif., as “Mighty Mouse” caught the Team Alpha Male rep with a sharp counter right hand that dropped him to the canvas and signaled the bout’s conclusion at 2:08.

Just prior, Faber put forth a strong effort in co-headliner’s opening round and then sealed the deal in the second stanza, staggering “Mayday” with a flurry of punches before eliciting a submission with his patented guillotine choke.

Castillo nearly finished Barboza with an onslaught of punches in the first round of their undercard contest, but the Brazilian survived and took control of the bout’s final 10 minutes, securing a majority decision to extend his current winning streak to three fights.
