UFC on Versus Payouts: Dos Santos Earns $120,000

Junior dos Santos banked a six-figure payday and continued his heavyweight climb with a first-round knockout of Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC on Versus 1 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo. The 25-year-old Brazilian striker earned $70,000 in disclosed pay, according figures released Thursday by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Dos Santos, John Howard, and Jon Jones all benefited from $50,000 knockout bonuses doled out by the promotion. Lightweight Clay Guida also notched a six-figure payday with a $50,000 submission bonus.
