The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Wednesday announced five Canadian events for 2014, beginning with an April 16 trip to Quebec City for the “TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia” finale.
Following that stop at Pepsi Coliseum, the UFC will return to Vancouver, British Columbia, on June 14 for UFC 174 at Rogers Arena. The trip marks the Las Vegas-based organization’s third visit to Vancouver and the first since UFC 131 in 2011.
The company will then hold UFC 178 on Sept. 27 from Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, marking the promotion’s fifth visit to the Ontario capital. Just one week later, the UFC will debut in Halifax, Nova Scotia, hosting a UFC Fight Night show at Halifax Metro Center.
The UFC will make its last Canadian stop in the familiar destination of Montreal, which has already housed the Octagon six times. UFC 181 will take place at Bell Centre, a venue the organization most recently visited last March for UFC 158.
