The fights were announced by Fox Sports Australia, where Vaculik hosts a television show titled “UFC Fight Week.”
Vaculik (10-3) will enter the battle on the heels of a knockout
loss at the hands of Louis
Smolka in November 2014. He is 1-2 in the UFC.
Alliance MMA’s Martinez has yet to taste victory in his three UFC bouts, with losses against Chris Cariaso, Scott Jorgensen and Sirwan Kakai. All three defeats were by unanimous decision.
Nguyen (13-5) is looking to build on his explosive Octagon debut, where he knocked out Alptekin Ozkilic in the first round. He has won seven straight.
Benoit (8-3) made a name for himself by stopping Sergio Pettis in the second round back in March. The win evened his UFC record after dropping his debut to Josh Sampo via submission last September.
UFC 193 will be headlined by women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and her challenger, Holly Holm. The event will go down at Etihad Stadium, which seats approximately 70,000 spectators. While the bill takes place on Sunday, Nov. 15, it will air on Saturday, Nov. 14 in North America in its normal timeslot due to the time difference.
