Undefeated British welterweight Michael Page will square off against Rudy Bears at Bellator 140 on July 17.

The promotion announced the pairing on Friday. Bellator 140 takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and is headlined by a 170-pound championship bout pitting Douglas Lima against Andrey Koreshkov.

Page was supposed to face Curtis Millender at Bellator 134 “British Invasion,” but a cut forced the kickboxing ace to withdraw from the contest at the last minute. The 28-year-old known as “Venom” last competed at Bellator 128, where he outpointed Strikeforce veteran Nah-Shon Burrell. That victory marked the first time in seven professional outings that Page did not finish his opponent.

Bears returns to the Scott Coker-led organization for the first time since July 20, 2012, when he suffered a first-round technical knockout loss to Paul Daley at Bellator 72. “Bad News,” who is 2-5 over the course of three separate Bellator stints, enters the matchup on a two-fight winning streak.
