It's been a wild Monday for UFC President Dana White and featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
“It’s not true,” White said. “We haven’t talked to Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don’t know why he would tweet that.”
A few short hours later, TMZ Sports caught up with White again outside Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills, Calif., where he was on hand to watch UFC strawweight Paige VanZant compete on “Dancing With the Stars.” This time when he was asked about McGregor, White maintained “The Notorious” wouldn't be a part of UFC 200, but that he hoped to soon book McGregor for a subsequent event.
“We just had a whole press conference about this, I don't know how much clearer I can make it.” said White.“He'll fight on [UFC] 201, 202, 203, whatever. I don't know when, but we'll get it figured out.”
