Victory FC’s Year-End Slate Includes Three Events, Six Title Bouts



Victory Fighting Championship announced on Thursday that it will close out 2016 with a trio of events that will see six of the promotion’s titles will be at stake.

Victory FC will roll out its #3Shows30Days campaign starting with a card on Nov. 23 in Waterloo, Iowa. VFC 53 will be anchored by the middleweight championship between newly-crowned titlist Mike Rhodes defending against Ron Stallings. The event will go down the Wednesday just before Thanksgiving and will be held at Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center.

The co-feature for VFC 53 will see Jeff Curran make his promotional debut against Raufeon Stots in a bantamweight encounter.

Two weeks later, the Victory FC welterweight title will be on the line when Maki Pitolo takes on Kassius Holdorf in the main event of VFC 54. UFC vet Rob Emerson will put his bantamweight belt on the line against Darrick Minner in the co-feature. Additionally, Ryan Roberts is slated to fight for the vacant featherweight title, though an opponent has yet to be announced. VFC 54 will take place on Dec. 9 in Omaha, Neb.

Finally, VFC 55 will close out the year on Dec. 23 in Topeka, Kan., as Jake Lindsey will oppose Mandel Nallo for the vacant lightweight crown. The co-headlining bout will be heavyweight champ Daniel Gallemore defending his throne against Derek Bohi.

All three of the events will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass, though exact air times have not been revealed.
