Undefeated Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was given a memorable farewell as his gym at American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose, California, ahead of this weekend’s much anticipated fight with former two divisional champion Conor McGregor at UFC 229.

The video was posted by Brett Okamoto of ESPN, featuring a clearly humbled Nurmagomodev:

“Massive crowd of Khabib Nurmagomedov fans came to his gym in San Jose tonight to send him off to Vegas to fight Conor McGregor. More on @espn soon.”

Nurmagomedov posted a photo of him standing with his fans in front of a sign that read, “Khabib’s Army, Ready for 27-0,” while thanking them for the surprise visit:

“Thank you very much brothers, you charging me with energy and huge motivation. Next Saturday I’ll do my best to fulfil the expectations.

“When Allah is with us, nobody can break us.”

McGregor and his crew have already touched down in Las Vegas after completing their training camp in Dublin, Ireland.
