WEC, Versus to Launch Nine-City Tour
In advance of its June 3 live debut on Versus, WEC in conjunction
with the sports-programming network will kick off a nine-city tour
beginning May 14 in Sacramento, Calif., where WEC featherweight
champion Urijah Faber
(Pictures) will participate in an
open-to-the-public workout.
Faber will be joined by Charlie Valencia (Pictures) on the tour's final stop -- which includes dates in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Miami, Tampa Bay, Boston, Philadelphia and Houston -- when it reaches New York City, May 24.
Participating fighters include Faber, Valencia, Carlos Condit (Pictures), Brian Stann (Pictures) and Alex Karalexis (Pictures).
