Most observers would agree that World Series of Fighting lightweight champion Justin Gaethje earned every bit of the event-high paycheck he received for his memorable victory over Luis Palomino this past Saturday night.
Last-minute replacement Teddy Holder pocketed $20,000 for his upset victory over Thiago Silva ($20,000) in the evening’s light heavyweight co-main event, while Dagestani bantamweight prospect Timur Valiev earned $18,000 for a first-round stoppage of Ed West ($2,500) in another featured bout.
