The World Series of Fighting continues to build its talent pool, as the promotion recently signed Jackson’s MMA representative Landon Vannata to a four-fight deal.

Jackson’s MMA announced the signing on its Twitter account Saturday and Sherdog.com confirmed the news with a source close to the gym shortly thereafter. Vannata will compete at 155 pounds for the Las Vegas-based promotion.

Vannata is unbeaten in four professional appearances, with all but one of those triumphs coming inside the distance. He went 3-0 in 2013, including a split-verdict over former Bellator and Strikeforce talent J.P. Reese at XFC 25. Most recently, Vannata scored a first-round submission over Mitsuyoshi Nakai at Pancrase 255 in December.

WSOF 8, the promotion’s next event, is set for Jan. 18 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The card is headlined by a lightweight title clash between Justin Gaethje and Richard Patishnock and also includes a light heavyweight clash pitting Anthony Johnson against Mike Kyle.
