Weekend Fight Odds: Bisping, Mousasi Betting Favorites at UFC 204

With one of MMA’s greatest rivalries of the past few years finally coming to a head on Saturday, all eyes will be focused on the Manchester Arena for UFC 204. UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping will get his long-awaited rematch with nemesis Dan Henderson but the question looms as to whether he can even the score against one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time.

Bisping, who enjoyed wins over Anderson Silva and Luke Rockhold in his most recent Octagon appearances, is a betting favorite going into Saturday’s matchup, according to online sportsbook Bovada. “The Count” currently sits as a -250 favorite over “Hendo,” who won their first meeting at UFC 100 via spectacular knockout.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort, who, like Henderson, is in the twilight of his career, will get likely his last crack at remaining in the spotlight when he collides with former Dream and Strikeforce titlist Gegard Mousasi in the UFC 204 co-feature. Mousasi is a sizable favorite going in and as of Friday afternoon, he is a -340 favorite. Belfort, meanwhile, is still a very dangerous fighter early in battle and it might be worth dropping some money on him as a +260 underdog.
