Who's TUFer? Evans Fights Bisping at UFC 78
For the first time since the inception of SpikeTV's "The Ultimate
Fighter" in 2005, winners of the popular reality show will square
off in the Octagon when Rashad Evans (Pictures) fights Michael Bisping (Pictures), the UFC announced on its Web
site Wednesday.
Evans, who took TUF 2 with a decision win over Brad Imes (Pictures) in a heavyweight fight, and Bisping (14-0), the season three light heavyweight winner after stopping Josh Haynes (Pictures), will meet Nov. 17 in Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center.
The 28-year-old Evans (10-0-1) last fought to a draw against former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz (Pictures).
Bisping, also 28, retained his undefeated status on Sept. 8 with a controversial split decision win against fellow TUF 3 veteran Matt Hammil.
