Rosholt was released from the UFC earlier this year despite compiling a 6-2 mark within the Las Vegas-based organization. However, his last Octagon appearance resulted in a lackluster unanimous decision loss to Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night “Hendricks vs. Thompson” on Feb. 6. The former NCAA All-American wrestler earned five of his six UFC triumphs by way of decision.
The 41-year-old Gooch has competed organizations such as CES MMA, RFA and King of the Cage over the course of his 14-fight professional tenure. He enters WSOF on an eight-bout winning streak, with all of those triumphs coming inside the distance.
