Eric "Butterbean" Esch (Pictures) will fight
Gary Goodridge (Pictures) at Yamma Pit Fighting's debut event April 11 in Atlantic City, N.J., the promotion announced Wednesday.
The bout will be one of two "Masters Superfights."
Oleg Taktarov takes on
Don Frye (Pictures) in the other meeting.
Bob Meyrowitz's promotion also released a final lineup for its eight-man heavyweight tournament. Six fighters had already been announced: Marcelo Pereira,
Sherman Pendergarst,
Rex Richards (Pictures),
Tony Sylvester, Chris Tuscherer and
Travis Wiuff (Pictures).
The final two heavyweights will be
Alexey Oleinik (Pictures) -- a 6-foot-1, 220-pound member of Russia's Red Devil Sports Club -- and
George Bush (Pictures) -- a 6-foot-1, 235-pound fighter from Columbus, Ohio.
"For Yamma Pit Fighting's inaugural event, we've brought together some of the greatest MMA veterans as well as some of the best emerging fighters," Meyrowitz said in a news release. "The event will demonstrate that these MMA legends still have a lot to teach and will also advance the tournament fighters towards legendary status themselves."
