Yancy Medeiros will look to continue his winning ways against Joe Proctor at “The Ultimate Fighter 20” finale on Dec. 12.

Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced the bout on Thursday. “TUF 20” will culminate in the crowning of the inaugural women’s strawweight champion. The event will emanate from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and air on Fox Sports 1.

Medeiros is coming off a spectacular submission finish of Damon Jackson at UFC 177, where “The Kid” locked in a rare reverse bulldog choke for the win. The victory ended a streak of three consecutive bouts where wins had eluded Medeiros, who had fallen to Rustam Khabilov and Jim Miller and had a win over Yves Edwards changed to a no contest.

Proctor has opened his UFC career with wins in three of four outings, with the lone defeat coming via decision against Ramsey Nijem at UFC on Fox 5. The Bridgewater, Mass., native most recently earned a technical knockout victory over Justin Salas at UFC Fight Night “Cerrone vs. Miller,” although he went home with a nasty hematoma for his efforts.
