Yoshihiro Akiyama, the Japanese veteran known as “Sexyama,” is back.

The 43-year-old is set for his One Championship debut on June 15 at One Championship “Legendary Quest.” There he will take on Agilan Thani (8-3) in the evening’s featured MMA contest.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran last fought in November 2015, when he lost to Alberto Mina by split decision. His last win came back in September 2014, when he beat Amir Sadollah by decision. Before that he lost four straight fights to Chris Leben, Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort and Jake Shields under the UFC banner.

Although Akiyama hasn’t fought in almost four years, he was considered one of One’s big free agent signings over the past year.

Thani, meanwhile, is currently riding a two-fight losing streak entering the fight against Akiyama.

One Championship “Legendary Quest” takes place at Baoshan Arena in Shanghai and will feature a mix of MMA and muay Thai bouts.
