Zak Ottow will step in for the injured Warlley Alves and face Kiichi Kunimoto at UFC Fight Night 110.

Promotion officials announced the change to the welterweight bout on Thursday. The nature of Alves’ injury was not disclosed. UFC Fight Night 110 takes place at Vector Arena in Auckland New Zealand on June 10 and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Mark Hunt and Derrick Lewis.

Ottow, 30, debuted in the Octagon with a split verdict over Joshua Burkman at UFC Fight Night 96. In his sophomore outing, “The Barbarian” dropped a split decision against Sergio Moraes at UFC Fight Night 100. Ottow is 14-4 as a professional, including 10 victories via submission.

Kunimoto had a seven-fight winning streak snapped in his last appearance at UFC Fight Night 60, when he was submitted in the third round by Neil Magny. The Japanese welterweight has not competed since that February 2015 bout.
