Toyo Tires®-Sponsored “Rampage” Defeats “The Beastman” in UFC® 67

CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA – February 3, Saturday night at the Las Vegas Mandalay Events Center, Toyo Tires®-sponsored Quinton “Rampage” Jackson made his UFC® debut, facing off against Marvin Eastman (Pictures) a.k.a. “The Beastman” in the light-heavy weight division. Jackson, a former construction worker from Memphis, Tennessee, began the first round tentative, having suffered his first mixed martial arts loss to “The Beastman” in 2000. However, after picking up steam and gaining confidence late in round one, Jackson lived up to his “Rampage” nickname in round two, claiming the fight by technical knockout at three minutes, forty-nine seconds when a series of unanswered uppercuts sent a stunned Eastman to the mat.

“We’re really happy Rampage Jackson was able to win such a decisive victory in his first match as a Toyo-sponsored fighter. We look forward to his future endeavors and to continuing our support of Jackson and other top fighters in this exciting sport”, said Stan Chen, Manager of Events and Motorsports, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation. For more information on Toyo Tires®, products, and Toyo’s support of the UFC® and other lifestyle events log on to toyo.com.
