2010 US Armed Service Pankration Championships

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Approximately 150 - 200 Athletes from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard will be competing for individual Titles in nine weight classes at this 6th annual US Armed Services Pankration Championships on May 15th. This free event is sponsored by Scion, Military One Source and Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Community Services.
Pankration is a Combative Style of Wrestling that allows Body
Strikes, Take downs and Submissions in a action packed double
elimination tournament. The advanced division is estimated to start
at 2 PM with the finals estimated to start at 5 PM in the main
competition gym.
This is a free event for all members of the US Armed Forces.

Last March the first US Armed Services Team vs Team Pankration Dual tournament was held. Cold Forged sponsored the finals in a professional produced team cage match.
