A Portion of MMA Adventure Proceeds to Benefit Charity

(PRESS RELEASE) -- MMA Adventure, a company that offers mixed
martial arts fans the chance to embark on one-on-one adventures
with some of today's biggest MMA stars, proudly announced today
that every MMA Adventure entry purchased will now benefit charity.
A new charity will be featured each month. All entries purchased
for November’s “Big John” McCarthy adventure will help support
Movember, a charity that raises vital funds and awareness for
Prostate cancer and other cancers that effect men. Fans can enter
to win the trip to Hawaii with “Big John” between now and November
21, 2011 at www.mmaadventure.com.
Every year during November, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health. They start the month of November clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as “Mo Bros”, raise funds for Prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives, by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.
In true Movember style, “Big John” McCarthy and MMA Adventure
spokesman Frank Trigg will become “Mo Bros”, as they grow a
moustache to support the cause. Fans and supporters can follow
Trigg (@FRANKTRIGG) and McCarthy (@BJMUTA) on Twitter for updates
and photos of their fine moustachery. Fans that become a “Mo Bro”
to support the cause are encouraged to share their photos as
well.
According to Riley Knox, as spokesperson for MMA Adventure, “We are very excited about the new charity element of MMA Adventure. MMA fans and fighters will have the chance to help raise funds for some great causes. We have several fun things planned to raise awareness for the charities as well.”
MMA Adventure winners embark on a once in a lifetime journey with MMA’s elite. The destination and adventure is based on the personal interests of the featured MMA star, allowing the fan to truly get to know the ‘person’ behind the celebrity. The most recent MMA Adventure took place Las Vegas, Nevada with MMA Legend Mark Coleman.
Knox had this to say about the experience, “We are coming off of another great MMA Adventure! The Mark Coleman Halloween weekend adventure in Vegas was a huge success! Our winner Jason, his wife, and Coleman took a limo to the Angels and Devils Halloween bash and even got to experience “indoor” skydiving. Our winner also attended UFC 137 with Coleman where they watched the fights from prime seats. ”
Knox went on to say, “Following the fights, Frank Trigg joined Mark and our winners at the Mix Club for an after party hosted by Urijah Faber. Later in the evening Joe Rogan and Mark Goldberg showed up at the party!
