(PRESS RELEASE) -- Professional MMA came back to the War Memorial
Auditorium in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Friday, Feb. 18th with a big
bang. The crowd at the historic facility cheered during eight
non-stop action professional MMA fights.
The fight of the night honor went to Caleb Archer of American Top Team in Coconut Creek against Aaron Cerda of Texas in the 135 pound division. The Sun-Sentinel newspaper calls it “in what might stand as the best local MMA fight of 2011!” It was a bloody three-round showdown that brought the crowd to their feet. The decision went to Archer and a rematch is already in the works.
The “Alpha Dog” Bruce Bellocchi came out on top over “Big” Sid
Carlton in a Heavyweight match up. Rafael “The Law” Dias was
victorious over Chris Ensley with an armbar 1:56 into the first
round. In the main event, Mike Bruno took on Avery McPhatter of
Tampa and won a unanimous decision.
Marcio Armeli of Deerfield Beach got a submission victory over Doug Rossi from Ft. Myers via kimura just 56 seconds into the first round.
Fight Time Promotions is owned by Howard Davis Jr. – 1976 Boxing Olympic Gold Medalist. Fight Time Promotions has an exclusive agreement with the City of Ft. Lauderdale’s War Memorial Auditorium to promote 5 professional MMA shows this year.

The “Snowman” was featured during Fight Time 1 and 2 and now he’s back for Fight Time 4 as the main event in the MMA Heavyweight Explosion.
The Fight Time Promotions’ 2011 schedule: Feb. 18th, April 1st, June 17th, August 19th, Oct. 7th.
