Fighting Alliance (ALFA) MMA champion continues as BAMMA USA
presents ALFA on June 25 at the Industry Hills Expo Center in the
City of Industry, California.
More than 24 talented amateur mixed martial artists will be on display Saturday evening for the public to view the talent of Southern California and witness ALFA League fighters compete towards becoming crowned the first ALFA League champion. (http://camo-mma.org/Events-view&id=153)

BAMMA USA created the Amateur League Fighting Alliance to help generate support and encourage aspiring fighters interested in competing professionally and ultimately extending their careers to the top level.
Through ALFA, amateur combatants are able to compete in California Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Organization (CAMO) sanctioned events, legitimately build their fight records and gain valuable experience performing in a professional fighting atmosphere. Not only will ALFA champions be awarded with an official title, they will also be available for potential fight contracts to begin their professional careers.
“ALFA League winners can expect a title belt to be wrapped around their waste and a BAMMA USA professional MMA contract put before them to jump-start their pro career,” said Roberts, when explaining why becoming an ALFA champion is so rewarding. “We want to help build and market these guys from their very first fight and up, so they won’t have to do it themselves.”
Amateur League Fighting Alliance will help propel fighters through the system like never before. Now, serious athletes making the transition into the sport of MMA will be able to do so like they would in any other professional sport. The ALFA League will help develop amateurs into pros before ever fighting professionally.
Roberts explains how ALFA and BAMMA USA work together; “With our structure, we can help transition fighters from amateur to professional by starting them in the ALFA League and then moving them into BAMMA USA. Both ALFA and BAMMA USA provide a professional quality atmosphere so fighters will naturally transition into bigger shows afterwards. Most of these guys get excited when they see the venues, the stage and how much production is involved.”
