Art of war productions "Tactical Violence"

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Art of War makes its return to the Chicken Ranch
Casino in Jamestown, CA after a successful May 25h outing. They
return on August 3rd with their “Tactical Violence event”. The
event will be host to a staggering 9 championship fights, four pro
and five amateur.
The main event of the night will feature Justin Smitley (8-7) taking on Justin Farmer (3-2) as they vie for the Art of War featherweight crown. Smitley is coming off of a draw in a championship fight against Adrian Diaz (5-3) at Art Of War’s “Stand and Deliver” show back in March. Before that Smitley defeated Diaz and Tony Boyles (5-9) by unanimous decision. Farmer meanwhile is on a two fight winning streak with victories over Kyle Dundas (4-5) and Jose Rosales (1-3)
Another exciting pro title fight announced for the card is
Bakersfield BJJ ace Ray Cervera
(6-2) taking on Johnny
Marez (4-1) for the Art of War Lightweight championship.
Cervera, known for his relentless ground attack earned his shot at
the belt by defeating Steven
Cartwright (1-3) via Rear Naked Choke at 2:18 of round 1.
Cervera’s only defeats since entering the MMA game in May of 2009
have come by split decision to recent World Series of Fighting
signee Joe Murphy
(6-0) and Visalia, CA prospect Cody Gibson
(8-3)
Marez meanwhile enters the fight on a three fight win streak. Of his 4 wins he has finished all but 1. Marez earned his shot at the Art of War title by dispatching of Matt Clark (0-5) at Art Of War’s “Game Face” event. He has fought once since then picking up a win over Nathan Kavanaugh (0-2) in the Gladiator Challenge promotion.
