(PRESS RELEASE) -- This weekend, two exciting fighters out of Extreme Fight Club (EFC) in Woodland Park, NJ will be stepping into the cage for Asylum Fight League XXXV on June 18th in Lakewood, NJ at the Blue Claws stadium. George “The Animal” Heerema and Montasir “Monster” Mohamed, are both trained by professional MMA trainer Hani Darwish, who says that these guys are coming to put their entire weight divisions on notice come Saturday. “My guys have been training really hard for a long time now and are ready to be let out of the cage and set loose on the MMA world.” Despite taking the fight on less than a week’s notice, both George and Monster claim to be ready for any challenge that is presented to them. These tough fighters look to make an impact in their weight divisions and work their way up the standings for an eventual title.

George is scheduled to fight Taylor Costantino, a talented Sambo fighter training out of Team Renegade who will be making his MMA debut against The Animal. Heerema is a scrappy fighter with a background in wresting and kickboxing. Recently George has been training extensively in jiujitsu and submission grappling in order to diversify his MMA game. Known for his devastating leg kicks and vicious slams, George is a compact 147 lb powerhouse who prides himself on his cardio. When asked about his opponent on Saturday, George confidently states that, “No matter where this fight ends up, standup or the ground- I’m gonna take this guy out. I’ve been preparing with team EFC since the beginning and Im sure that this fight is ending in a swift knockout!”

Another exciting fighter out of Extreme Fight Club, Montaser “Monster” Mohamed is poised to cause some commotion in the cage come Saturday night. Monster is a Grapplers Quest division champion and Absolute division silver medalist with a nasty take-no-prisoners fighting style. Widely known for his no-nonsense, fight-to-the-death attitude, Monster is there to give the fans what they want- action, knockouts, and submissions. Mohamed has been extensively working on his striking skills and is looking to use all of his tools against MMA debuter Aharon Atwwod from Nick Catone’s MMA. When asked about what he thought about the fight this Saturday Monster simply declared, “I know this guy isn’t training as hard as I have been with Coach Hani. I’m coming in there not just to win but to finish and make an example out of my opponent.”

Asylum Fight League XXXV will surely be an exciting night of fights with the addition of these two great fighters to the card. “These are two of the hardest working guys at the gym and I feel really excited about showcasing a Monster and an Animal to the MMA world on Saturday night.”
