“It’s been a pleasure bringing out MMA stars to do demonstrations for the crowds, apparel companies bring their gear and give fans free stuff, fans get to take pictures and meet their role-models and you can’t forget about the annual ring girl competition,” said BAMMA USA promoter Brett Roberts. “Like last year, we will be inviting a number of high-level MMA athletes to take part in the Auto Show.”

Companies interested in participating in this year’s festivities may contact BAMMA USA representatives for more information by calling 714-912-8822. Tickets for the OC International Auto Show start at $10 for adults 13 years and over, $6 for senior citizens 62 years and over, $5 for students with an ID and free for children ages 12 and under.

Badbeat 3, presented by BAMMA USA at the world’s largest poker casino Commerce Casino, was presented on August 20, 2011 in front of a full capacity audience. The main event showdown featured a pair of tough middleweights as former “The Ultimate Fighter” contestant Joseph “Leonidas” Henle (5-0-1) dominated his opponent Gabriel Lopez (1-4). Henle was able to take mount when the fight hit the ground and unleashed a number of strikes forcing the Arizona fighter’s camp to throw in the towel.

Los Angeles school teacher and Bellator veteran Albert Rios (13-6) and former Strikeforce competitor Bobby “The Kid” Sanchez (6-16) let it all on the line and put on a great show for the fans. Rios found himself on his back against cage with Sanchez in his guard when he used his legs to walk up the cage and land mounted upon his opponent. He attempted to capture the back of Sanchez but through the mix he wound up with a guillotine. Sanchez stood up, slammed Rios to the ground and then eventually Sanchez submitted.

In a clash of the counties, Diman “Steel Leg” Morris (3-1-1) from Los Angeles and Nick “Mercenary” Moghaddam (4-4-1) from Orange County fought to a majority draw.

After fighting for his life and beating cancer, Chris “The Real Deal” Beal (3-0) returns a perfect record defeating muay-thai veteran Evan Esguerra (3-4) by way of a split-decision. Coined as fight of the night by everyone in attendance including the fighters themselves, Beal and Esguerra let it all hang on the line with head kicks and powerful punches. Esguerra returned fire with a number of head kicks that landed but like his opponent, it didn’t do the trick. In the last stanza the two fighters appeared exhausted as if they had taken enough however they continued to push the pace and give the fans in attendance a great show.

Bas Rutten’s Elite MMA fighter Michael Jasper (2-0) continued his winning streak with a first round TKO over Teshawn “Beast Mode” Walls (1-1). Walls looked poised throughout the beginning of the fight as Jasper initiated the clinch and went for the takedown. After successfully taking down Walls and landing in side control and against the cage, Jasper began to enforce short elbow strikes landing square on the head of walls and forcing the referee to call the fight. The crowd in attendance went crazy.
